ZDtE Market Intelligence ("ZDtE," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our quantitative market analytics platform for SPX 0DTE options located at zdte.ai (the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

  • Email address (required for registration)
  • Display name (optional)
  • Password (stored as bcrypt hash, never in plaintext)
  • Subscription tier (Free, Core, or Pro)
  • Account creation date and last login timestamp

Usage Data

  • Pages visited, features accessed, and time spent on the Platform
  • Analytics preferences (e.g., chart types, watchlist selections)
  • API requests and interaction logs (for service delivery and debugging)

Payment Information

  • Payment card information is processed by our payment processor and is never stored on our servers
  • We store only a payment provider customer ID, subscription plan ID, and transaction receipts (for billing records)

Technical Information

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Referring URL and navigation path

ZDtE Copilot (AI Chat) Data

  • Chat messages you send to ZDtE Copilot and the AI-generated responses
  • Conversation history within a session (messages are sent to the AI model with prior conversation context to maintain coherent dialogue)
  • Timestamps and metadata associated with chat interactions
  • ZDtE Copilot does not access your account credentials, payment information, personal financial data, brokerage accounts, or trading positions

Discord and Social Media

  • Discord user ID and server nickname (collected by Discord, not stored on our servers)
  • Discord role assignments (e.g., Pro tier access) linked to your subscription status
  • Messages posted in ZDtE Discord channels are governed by Discord's Privacy Policy, not ours. We do not collect or store your Discord messages.
  • Our Discord bot reads platform state files (market data, regime state) to generate automated analytics posts. It does not access your personal information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Account Management: To create, maintain, and authenticate your account
  • Service Delivery: To provide access to analytics, data visualizations, and subscription-tier features
  • Payment Processing: To process subscription payments and manage billing
  • Security: To detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse of the Platform
  • Communications: To send transactional emails (e.g., password resets, subscription confirmations, service notices)
  • Analytics and Improvement: To understand how users interact with the Platform and improve features, performance, and user experience
  • AI Chat Processing: To transmit your ZDtE Copilot messages to our AI provider for generating responses, and to provide conversational context within a session. We may review anonymized chat logs to improve response quality and detect abuse.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising or sell your data to third parties. Your ZDtE Copilot conversations are not used to train AI models.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:
    • Payment processing (credit card tokenization, subscription billing)
    • Transactional email delivery (password resets, account notifications)
    • Hosting, content delivery, and security infrastructure
    • AI language model processing for ZDtE Copilot chat. Chat messages are transmitted to our AI provider for generating responses. Under our provider's commercial API terms, your data is not used to train their models.
    • Community platform for subscriber engagement (Discord). The community platform collects and processes data per their own privacy policy. Our bot posts automated market analytics; it does not collect or transmit user personal information.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our legal rights
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity

We do not share your data with data brokers, advertisers, or marketing platforms.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. If you request account deletion, contact [email protected] or use the account deletion option in your account settings. We will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records for tax compliance, which are retained for 7 years).

Usage logs and analytics data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for statistical analysis and service improvement.

ZDtE Copilot chat data: Chat conversations are not persisted on our servers beyond the active session. Once your browser session ends, conversation history is discarded. Our AI provider may retain API request data in accordance with their data retention policies, but does not use commercial API data for model training. We may retain anonymized, aggregated chat analytics (e.g., query volume, topic categories) for service improvement.

6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the following rights:

  • Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months, the sources of that information, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal compliance, fraud prevention).
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. If this changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights (e.g., we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service).

7. Cookies and Local Storage

The Platform uses browser localStorage to store your authentication token (JWT) for session management. This allows you to remain logged in between visits.

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may set essential security cookies to protect against DDoS attacks and bot traffic. These cookies do not track your activity across other websites.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Password Security: Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. We never store plaintext passwords.
  • Secure Transmission: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
  • JWT Authentication: Session tokens are signed and validated to prevent tampering.
  • DDoS Protection: Our hosting infrastructure provides protection against distributed denial-of-service attacks.
  • Access Controls: Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in California and the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under the applicable age has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
